The Hairy Bastard

The Hairy Bastard, a grooming atelier in Brick Lane, London, needed business cards that reflected its bold identity and industrial interior. A 450gsm silk stock with matte lamination was selected to mirror the raw, textured feel of the space—exposed brick, copper mesh ceilings, and industrial lighting—conveying a sense of rugged refinement. The reverse featured a street map of the local area with Spot UV highlights, adding both a tactile element and a visual point of interest. This not only helps clients find their way back but also reinforces the brand’s strong connection to Brick Lane’s vibrant, culturally diverse atmosphere, known for its nightlife, cafés, curry houses, and street art.
